Descri ption/Explanation.
’
. The project consists of an existing church building located at 1975 Chestnut Avenue, Carlsbad,
CA. There are three entrances onto the site: Chestnut Avenue, Monroe Street and Magnolia
Avenue. Currently, the entrance from Magnolia Avenue is gated.. The church would like to
provide a series of 6’ high gates and fences to secure the entire parking lot. At the Chestnut
Avenue entrance, dual gates with a key pad controlled entrance, and an automatic exit device will
be provided. A concrete island will be placed in the drive for the gate equipment. At the Monroe
Street entrance, a sliding manual gate will be provided with a planter added for the gate. At each
entrance, a 3’-0 single swing gate will be provided.
