Dear Jim,
It has been brought to the attention of the San Dieguito
Junior Chamber of Commerce that an authorized drag strip is
proposed in the Carlsbad area under your management.
We are in favor of this project as it fits in with
our safety program which is uniform through out all
Jay Lee organizations in our state, of which there are
three in your immediate area: Carlsbad, Oceanside and
Vista. Although we can not speak in behalf of these
locals we fsel this is a prime step towards safety on
our highways.

Whereby we take no political views or monitary values
on this undertaking our possition is we hope this can be
a success towards safety and community developement in
your area as well as our own.
