SUBJECT: CUP 150(A) - CARLSBAD GIRL’S CLUB - -OR LIGHTING PLAN
Dear Caroline:
Thank you for submitting several lighting alternatives to be reviewed by the Planning
Department for the purpose of satisfying Condition No. 11 of Resolution 2774 approving
the Girl’s Club Conditional Use Permit.
The Planning Department has reviewed your alternative proposals and deteded that the
lighting plan shall consist of two 300 watt quartz lights attached to the building along the
northern elevation at locations specified on the attached site plan. The light fixtures shall
be tilted down toward the parking lot to avoid any negative impact to neighboring properties. If the proposed lighting results in illumination which spills out to neighboring
properties, it will be necessary to reduce each of the lights to 150 watts.
Also, this letter acknowledges that you have complied with Condition No. 18 requiring a
6’ solid barrier along the south property line to the satisfaction of the Planning
Department.
