HomeMy WebLinkAboutCUP 154A; Pacific Bell Vehicles Unlimited; Conditional Use Permit (CUP) (13)MAY 17, 1994, REVISED JUNE 20,1994* TO: ASSOCIATE PLANNER, Teresa Woods FROM: ASSOCIATE ENGINEER, Jim Davis VIA PRINCIPAL CIVIL ENGINEER FOR LAND USE CUP 154A, PACIFIC BELL/VEHICLES UNLIMITED We have reviewed the project and can recommend approval under the following conditions: v Withii 90 days of the approval of this CUP Amendment, the applicant shall obtain approval from the City Engineer of a Best Management Practices Plan to reduce pollutants from the drainage and meet the needs of the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit, to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.The plan shall include but not be limited to providing measures to contain and control any spill of materials considered hazardous, provide measures to keep the site swept and clean of such hazardous materials and notify the County Hazardous Materials Disposal Unit when a spill occurs. All materials removed as a result of these operations shall be disposed of in a lawful and approved manner for disposing of hazardous materials. All vehicles shall be loaded and unloaded in a safe and lawful manner. No loading or unloading of vehicles in the public street will be permitted except from normal parallel parking positions and done without blocking a travel lane unless a traffic control plan has been approved and a right-of-way permit has been issued. Upon discontinuing the operations permitted by this Conditional Use Permit, the applicant shall test the site and soils for contamination with hazardous materials and if contamination is found,restore the site as may be required by the property owners and the county health authorities using approved methods standard to the industry of hazardous waste disposal.
