SUBJECT: CUP 154(D) - PACIFIC BELL
Dear Andrew:
The Planning Department has received comments back from the fire department. Below
are the comments and issued that need to be addressed. Please include these in the next
plan check submittal package.

Proposed structure must be protected throughout by an approved automatic fire
sprinkler system.
Applicant must indicate the manner in which hydrogen off-gasing will be managed in
the battery storage area.
All fuel storage requires a permit from San Diego County Department of Environmental
Health, or from the Carlsbad Fire Department. This item will be a condition of
approval for the project and does not need to be addressed at this time. Please
consider the requirements to ensure that fuel storage is possible.
