Initial review: (Note: This commentary identifies fire protection issues associated
with the project, andor prescribes specific corrections needed to achieve Fire Department
approval.)
1. Proposed structure must be protected throughout by an approved
automatic fire sprinkler system.
2. Applicant must indicate the manner in which hydrogen off-gasing
will be managed in the battery storage area.
3. All fuel storage requires a permit from San Diego County
Department of Environmental Health, or from the Carlsbad Fire
Department.
