This acquisition is contingent on our belng able to:
(A) Adjust the boundary line between Parcel A and B leaving sufficient space and parking areas in Parcel A to meet City requirements for existing building (6118 Paseo Del Norte).
(B) Procure a Conditional Use Permit and relocate our existing equipment rental operation from 2520 State St., Carlsbad into new facilities that would be constructed on Parcel B.
You may recall that the City previously approved relocation of our existing operation to a Parcel 6 on the west side of Paseo Del Norte in 1978, however, the permit issued by the Coastal Commission precluded the use of area where reeds had grown, and did not afford sufficient space for our operation.
