NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will hold a
public hearing at the Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, California, at
6:OO p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2001, to consider a request for a 5 year extension of
CUP 169x2 to allow the continued operation of a veterinary clinic located in the West Bluff Plaza
Commercial Center at the northeast corner of Alga Road and El Camino Real in Local Facilities
Management Zone 6 and more particularly described as:
Being a portion of the west half of the northeast quarter of Section
26, Township 12 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino base
meridian, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of
California.
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the public
hearing: Copies of the staff report will be available on and after September 13, 2001. If you
have any questions, please call Greg Fisher in the Planning Department at (760) 602-4629.
If you challenge the extension to a Conditional Use Permit in court, you may be limited to raising
only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in
written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior to the public hearing.
