Dear Planning Staff,
The preceeding Conditional Use Permit application has been submitted at your request as a necessary part of your approval
process for our proposed construction of a 2300 square foot
addition to the existing Parish Hall of St. Michaels Episcopal Church.
The following study of parking demands is submitted only to
illustrate our feeling that the existing parking facilities
are more than adequate to serve both the existing church
structures and the proposed addition. Two things should be noted to keep the following study in perspective. the parking load generated by this addition would require 16 additional parking stalls. Second, just a couple of years ago, the church constructed a new 39 stall parking lot on parcel 203-143-05. The church structures themselves have not been expanded in nearly twenty years.
this new 39 stall lot should more than provide for the
potential parking load generated by the proposed addition while still leaving 23 stalls to serve the currently existing structures that were not available a few years ago.
