After talking with you approximately two weeks ago I surveyed the property and have decided that the original condition as set forth in number ten, page four Resolution No. 3377 does not reflect the best standard for fire protection for this area.Specifically,our weed abatement standard allows the native brush and chaparral to be modified as well as clearing a fire break. This would be more in consistancy with the project which utilizes the chaparrel as well as the berm to screen from homes to the east.Therefore?I would request that the condition be changed to call for the chaparral to,be thinned on the east side by clearing out areas that have dead brush, an8 to maintain a 10 foot clear area between the s3 residential property line fences and the chaparral that already exists.The other three sides of the property to remain as they are with periodic monitoring.
