On January 20, 1981, I met with the Planning Department and the promoters of Sun Faire. cipal code and further requested a definition of the remaining activities which would have;to be reviewed by the Police Department for any state law violations- In addition, the promoters were advised their requests in this area would be subject to final review and interpretation by the City Attorney's office.
On January 21, 1981 , I mailed the promoters of Sun Faire a copy of the attached report by Detective Trujillo along with copies of applicable municipal code
sections and a request for further explanation and definitions of the remain- ing proposed activities. As of this date, I have not received a reply to this request. Sun Faire is on agenda for Planning Commission approval on January 28, 1981, 7:OO P.M. In light of being unable to properly review and research the proposed activities planned for "The Land of Discovery'' by Sun Faire, 1 would recommend that if the Planning Commission approves the request it be contingent upor, final review of the proposed activities by the Police Department and the Citv Attorney.
