Dear Ms. Rollman,
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the proposed Negative Declaration for construction of a roadside stand for the sale of shellfish on SDGLE property. adjacent to Agua
Hedionda Lagoon in Carlsbad. At this time, the staff of the
Coastal Commission has few comments on the project and the
granting of the Negative Declaration, other than to remind City
personnel that the project would require review under the
Commission's permit review proceedure and that at the time of
such review, the issues of parking, signage and setbacks from
the sensitve habitat of Agua Hedionda Lagoon would likely be
addressed. Should you have any questions regarding this matter
