SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF CUP 194(B)x2=CARLSBAD AQUAFARM
Dear John:
The Planning Department is currently reviewing your request for an extension of the
subject conditional use permit. Please submit the following items to enable us to prepare
a report for the Planning Commission informing them of the status your project:
1 . Fifteen (1 5) copies of an updated site plan showing the minor site alterations which
have occurred during the past two years;
2. ’ The property owner, S.D.G.&E., must submit a letter requesting an extension of the
conditional use permit; \
3. Submit evidence that your Shellfish Growing Area Certificate and Shellfish
Processing Certificate are current and that you are continuing to meet all terms
and conditions imposed by the Health Department for this certification.
4. As required by your conditional use permit (condition no. 9), submit the monthly
test reports performed in conjunction with your Shellfish Growing Area Certificate
for the past year (1993). Copies of the original test reports would satisfy this
requirement.
5. Please submit a radius map showing all lots entirely and partially within 600 feet
of the exterior boundaries of the subject property, and as required by Section
65091 of the California Government Code, submit a typewritten list of names and
addresses of all property owners within a 600 foot radius of the subject property
including the owner. This list shall include the San Diego County Assessor’s
parcel number from the latest equalized assessment rolls. Also required are two
sets of mailing labels of the identified property owners within the 600 foot radius
of the subject property. This list must be typed in all capital letters, left justified
and void of any punctuation. Do Not TVD~ Assesso r’s Parcel Numbers on
Labels. Do not provide addressed envelopes. Postage to cover the cost of
mailing for both sets of labels must accompany the labels. The radius map, labels,
and postage must be submitted no later than Februarv 22. 1994.

Prior to scheduling for Planning Commission hearing, evidence of compliance with all
conditions of approval is required. If the above items are provided within the next two
weeks (unless otherwise specified), we will attempt to schedule the project for the March
16, 1994 Planning Commission hearing.
