MEMORANDUM
TO: Carlsbad City Planning Commission
FROM: The City Manager
SUBJECT: Conditional Use Permit issued to Francis John and Virginia E. Fox.
The City Council advertised and a public hearing was held to consider an appeal of the decision of the Planning Com- mission in granting a Conditional Use Permit to Francis John and Virginia E. Fox, to allow overnight camping on property known as Fox's Snug Harbor.
As there were many facts needed by the Council before making their decision, Mayor Atkinson appointed Councilman Neiswender and Councilman Jardine to a committee to prepare a report on the facts for the Council, and the hearing was continued to May 18, 1965.
At the regular meeting of the Council held May 18, 1965, after hearing from all persons, and the presentation of the report by the committee, by a unanimous motion of the Council it was agreed that the above referenced matter be referred back to the Planning Commission for further study and a re- port by the Commission made back to the Council. Also the Council requested that a copy of the committee's report be forwarded to the Planning Commission.
