STAFF HAS REVIEWED THE REQUEST AND SOLICITED COMMENTS FROM POTENTIALLY EFFECTED CITY DEPARTMENTS AND NO SPECIFIC CONCERNS WERE RECEIVED. A CONCERN WITH THE ORIGINAL APPROVAL FOR THE ARCADE WAS THE ABILITY TO MAINTAIN ORDER. THEREFOR SEVERAL CONDITIONS WERE INCLUDED WHICH WOULD ALLOW THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO STEP IN AS NECESSARY. ALTHOUGH THERE HAS BEEN NO 'INDICATION THAT THERE HAS BEEN ANY PROBLEM WITH THE USE, THOSE ORIGINAL CONDITIONS FOR ORDER HAVE BEEN CARRIED OVER INTO THE RESOLUTION BEFORE YOU. STAFF RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT, CUP 234(A), THROUGH ADOPTION OF THE ATTACHED RESOLUTION WITH CONDITIONS. THAT CONCLUDES STAFFS PRESENTATION. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS I WOULD BE HAPPY TO ANSWER THEM.
