DATE STAMP APPLICATION RECEIVED RECEIVED BY: Page 2 of 6 Rev-sed 09 16 PALOMAR TRANSFER STATION CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT EXTENSION-CUP 260 {E) PROJECT DESCRIPTION Palomar Transfer Station, Inc. is requesting a Conditional Use Permit Extension to allow for an additional 24 months in order to obtain building permits. The approved Condition #8 of CUP 260 (D) required building permits for the expansion to be issued by November 6, 2014. An extension was permitted (CUP 260 (E)) which required building permits for the expansion to be issued by November 6, 2016. Due to funding constraints, Palomar Transfer Station was not able to move forward with the building permit process until recently. The applicant requests a 24-month time extension to Condition #8 thus requiring the issuance of building permits before November 6, 2018. The Palomar Transfer Station is in compliance with the requirements of CUP 260{E) and the findings in Municipal Code Section 21.58.040(b)(3) A-F. Additionally, the request for a time extension is also in compliance with the findings in Section 21.58.040{b)(3) A-F.
