SUBJECT: CARLSBAD RANCH MARKET (CUP-285)
Dear Mr. Grille:
This letter is sent to inform you that the City has completed its
review of your conditional use permit application for the
addition of approximately 4 20 square feet of building area to
your existing produce market.
As I commented to you earlier, the City's primary concern
relative to this structural addition was associated with
additional parking spaces which would be required. Upon further
research of our Zoning Ordinance, I discovered that per Section
21.44.120, for any structural alterations or additions less than
five-hundred square feet of floor space, no additional parking
spaces shall be required. Since the City has no further
concerns, it is our conclusion that no discretionary actions need
be processed through the City. In accordance, I would like to
recommend that you withdraw your application, apply for a full
refund of your $420.00 application fee, and proceed with pulling
your building permits.
