SUBJECT: Proposed Conditional Use Permit for a U.S.
Post Office Building.
My only comment is, will the driveway or alley between
Roosevelt and Madison streets, that at one time was offered
for dedication to the City still be an alley? Due to the
fact that it is private property will make a difference in
the location of the building. The required setbacks will
take 10,737 square feet out of the total 69,693 square feet
of the property. To increase the area, the parking lot could
be granted a variance to 0' (feet) setback .
Is any consideration being given for the future expansion
of the site or building?
