Gentlemen:
The Carlsbad Raceway has applied for a change in the conditional
use permit to permit the sale of beer at the Carlsbad Racemy,
this change in the conditional use permit was denied b:. the
planning commission, therefore, at this time we would like to appeal the denial as follows: *
1. Limit the sale of beer to Motorcycle Events only, be-
2. On September 18, 1966 we have a National Championship
cause of the much older age group attending these events.
Motorcycle Road Racing Event. At which time we will appreciate a one (1) day permit for the sale of beer
to the spectators.
A one (1) day beer license can be acquired from the Alcoholic
Beverage Commission for this type of event.
