A public hearing will be held in the Council Chambers, 1200
Elm Avenue, on Tuesday, July 1, 1969, at 7:30 P.M., to
consider an appeal of the decision of the Planning Commission,
in regards to an application submitted by Carlsbad Raceway
Corporation, in accordance with Ordinance No. 9060 of the
City of Carlsbad, for a Conditional Use Permit to amend the
present Conditional Use Permit to allow on-sale beer for all
events other than drag races and to extend the time limit on
the existing Conditional Use Permit for a period of ten (10)
years, on property located approximately two miles East of
Palomar Airport and North of Palomar Airport Road, more par-
ticularly described as the S 1/2 of NW 1/4 and SW 1/4 of NE 1/4
all in Section 18 T. 12 S. R. 3 W., SBBM., being Assessor's
Parcels 2, 3 and 22 of Book 221, Page 010 of the Assessor's Map
of San Diego County; more particularly described in application
on file in the City Clerk's Office.
