San Marcos,Ca. 92069 Subject1 Waste Disposal for Skate Park in Carlsbad,Ca. Dear Mr. Sloan: This report has been prepared at your request to. inform you of our status on the handling of waste water at the Skate Park in Carlsbad, California. At the present time we have performed Perc Tests in 17 areas on the South Westerly portion of the property. The test results show an aver- age Perc rate of approximately 30 minutes per inch. With this rate it is possible to install leach lines and septic tanks and still have a suitable system. The suitable 503.1 lies frbm 7 to 8 feet beloi4 the surface. This will require considerable expense to grade off the upper tfiree (3) feet of soil to allow the leach lines to be installed at five (5) feet or less. Our investigation shows that the sandy soil extended to at least fifteen (15) feet below the surface, as this was the maximum depth of our initial investigation. At this time it our opinion that a leach line system could be installed on the site, however, we feel that the most functional and practical system may be a seepage pits. To verify this we will need authorization to proceed with additional testing. If 'you should have' any questiobs, please contact this' office'. RCE 25115 RMV/tu
