Dear Mrs. Casler,
Because of several unusual circurristances, including the fact
that during the Fast year almost every Saturday night was
filled with the noise from heavy drag racers at the Carlsbad
Raceway and that now, as we are monitoring their events, only
two dragsters raced in the past two weeks, I resbectfully
make the following request.
/In the future when I am sure that heavy dragsters are racing
I at the raceway, I would like to notify Nr. Clukas (or other
designated persons) that he may witness to their presence at
that time. I have contacted reFresentatives from the cities
of Vista and San Marcos and they have indicated that they would
be interested in meeting with you if necessary. It is very possible that, because of their mutual interest, the cities
will make available additional persons for this task if l4r.
Clukas was not available on a certain date.
Because of the unusual circumstances we have been experiencing
regarding the recent scheduling of events at the raceway, I
suspect that the raceway management is aware that it is being
monitored and is taking necessary ste1.s to disprove complaints.
