Dear Plw. Grismer:
On behalf of several neighbors in our area, I have been asked to write to yau. Especially within the past year, the residents of the Meadowlark community of San Marcos are being
adversely affected by the increasing noise from Carlsbad Raceway.
Depending upon the location of the housing and topography,
it is often not possible for residents to speak in normal con- versational voices ciuring the races. Although with cooler weather windows and doors have been closed, the noise frcm the raceway has continued to compete with televisions and
radios inside.
11 San Diego Colinty code, Ordinance 54387, states: Every person is entitled to an environnent in whi.ch the noise is not detrimental to his or her.. .enjoyment of property.'' concern is whether you are contemplating increasing activity with dragsters at the raceway.
