Dear Committeepersons,
A recent article in the Times-Advocate brought my attention to the fact that you are going to debate the supposed prob- lem of noise created by the Carlsbad Raceway. Because this question has bein raised by San Marcos rssidents I fael corn-
peled to air my feelings.
Having lived in the lower Meadowlark Ranch area to the south- east of the raceway for over five years I would like to go on record as saying that at no time have I found the noise to be in any way objectionable. Quit8 frankly the only time you can even hear tkem is on daturday evenings 2nd at that you must be outside listening very carefully. Certainly not
a8 powerful as the domestic tranquility within our home.
At 47 gears of age 1 am not a drag ''freak" or of the motor-
cycle mentality.
