CUP-42(J) - CARLSBAD RACEWAY
recommending a revision to Condition No. 5 of
Resolution No. 2151 to delete the words "or nearest occupied dwelling, whichever is closer," This condition would then read:
5) Noise levels during the races shall not exceed 65 dB
SEL (single event level) at any point 2000 feet away
from the Raceway property boundary. This condition
will be enforced on a continuing basis by the Land Use Planning Manager.
Also, staff recommends a change to condition No. 14 to include
improvements to the raceway entry road, This condition would
read:
14) The entrance to the Raceway property (ticket booth
area) shall be refurbished and upgraded. This shall
include painting of the booths, fence repair, and
improvement of the entry road, and shall be completed
to the satisfaction of the Land Use Planning Manager
prior to October 1, 1983.
