On November 21, 1972, the City Council considered an Appeal
of the Planning Commission's decision to deny the subject
request for a Conditional Use Permit for a wrecking yard in
the Ponto area, and the Council subsequently granted the Appeal.
On January 9, 1973, a report was presented to the Planning
Commission and the Planning Commission reaffirms its original
decision on the request for C.U.P.. However, the Planning
Commission, as a condition of Appeal, recommends that the City
Council refer the subject application to the Coastal Zone Com-
mission for hearing.
