Subject: Eugene C. Chappee - Chappee's Autowrecking - CUP-64 (Division of Land for Ivicevic) - Carlsbad Municipal Water District.
Dear Ms. Hield:
This letter is to confirm our telephone conference of February 11, 1975, regarding the subject conditional use permit. Our review of your departmental staff report of February 11, 1975, indicated a recommendation to the effect that the "City" would be involved with the installation of a water main and fire hydrant in a manner accept- able to the City Fire Chief for the property of the conditional use permit. Specifically, you were advised that the property is located within the service area of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District and currently public water service is provided by that District.
Accordingly, we requested that you modify the language to read that
the applicant will enter into a future agreement with the "Carlsbad
Municipal Water District" to install a water main and fire hydrant in a manner acceptable to the City Fire Chief.
We appreciate your accomodation of our specific request and we would appreciate being notified when the current modification of the condi-
tional use permit has been formally completed by the City of Carlsbad
so that we can then proceed with the specific negotiations with the
property owner to fulfill the obligation of the conditional use permit related to public water service. n f
