I have been a resident of Carlsbad since 1984 Over the years many friends and neighbors have sent their children to Pilgrim Pre-School. My daughter has attended the pre-school for the past three years and she will be enrolled at Hope Elementary School in the fall. I understand that a recent complaint by Mr. Vallely, a neighbor of the pre-school, may result in the requirement of the construction of a wall. This is a needless expense and the purpose of my letter is to suggest that Mr. Vallely should make improvements to his property at his own expense. The Pilgrim Pre- School as well as Carlsbad High School were in place prior to his residency. Although I will be in Atlanta when the meeting is held to discuss this issue in July, I will be determined that my elected representatives on the city council know of my disdain for additional requirements in the conditional use permit for Pilgrim Pre-School.
