NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will
hold a public hearing at the Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad,
California, at 6:OO p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 1999, to consider a request for an
amendment to a Conditional Use Permit to allow the expansion of a church and
deletion of a child day care facility as a conditional use at 2020 Chestnut Avenue, and
rescinding CUP 85(B)x1 for a church meeting facility at 2030 Chestnut Avenue, in the
R-1 zone in Local Facilities Management Zone 1 and more particularly described as:
Map 1681 Thum Lands, Portion of Tracts 254 and 255
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the
public hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after June 10, 1999.
If you have any questions, please call Anne Hysong in the Planning Department at
(760) 438-1 161, extension 4477.
If you challenge the Conditional Use Permit in court, you may be limited to raising only
those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice
or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior to the public
hearing.
