Beckman, Subject: Landscaping and Encinas and Gentlemen: The Carlsbad Planning Commission on November 25, 1969, granted a Conditional Use Permit for the development of a mobile home park at Poinsettia Lane between Interstate 5 and ATSF Railroad. (Resolution 646) One of the conditions imposed on this permit was that both Poinsettia Lane and Avenida Encinas be constructed with raised landscaped medians. The purpose of this letter is to notify the City that Occidental of any improvement on the southerly and westerly half of Avenida Encinas and Poinsettia Lane. -Land, Inc. has no obligation with reference to the installation When Occidental sold the land along the southerly and westerly half of said streets, the Buyer, under the terms of the Agreement of Purchase and Sales and Escrow Instructions assumed all obligation for the installation of improvements as required by the City on that half of said streets bordering the property so conveyed. 7f you have any questions with reference to this matter, please contact the undersigned.
