L'HEUREUX LAW OFFICES ~OBE~T 3. wxwiw 322 NORTH NEVADA POST OFFICE BOX 701 OCEAJVslDE, CALlFOq~lA SZOSC February 14, 1979 Mr. Bud Plender Assistant Planning Director City of Carlsbad 1200 Elm Avenue Carlsbad, CA 92008 Dear Mr. Plender: AREA CODE 714 TELEPHONE 722-4221 I would appreciate it if you would please investigate the matters that we spoke of last Thursday concerning whether or not South Coast Asphalt could construct upon its property a building to be occupied by a separate business without first obtaining a parcel map, or an amendment to their conditional use permit. As I indicated to you the proposed use would be compatible with the current "M" zoning that applies to the property. I would appreciate it if you would please give this matter your prompt attention as my client is desirous of receiving as rapidly as possible. If neither a lot split nor an amendment to the con- ditional permit is required, please indicate what administrative and/or discretionary permits, other than a building permit would be required. We, of course, will obtain perculation tests as required by the county but I want to know what additional require- ments may be imposed by the City. Very truly yours, STE~HEN M.
