Mr. Michael Holtzmiller, Planning Department, City of Carlsbad
1200 Elm Avenue Carlsbad, CA 92008
Dear Mr. Holtzmiller :
In view of the new Planning Commissioners and the recent General Plan Amendment activity adjacent to South Coast's plant, my client would like to invite the Commissioners to tour the plant
so that they can obtain a firsthand view of its facilities and land- holdings. As we have discussed on numerous occasions South Coast's ownership in this area is substantial and the plant obviously does have an impact upon its neighbors. to the plant it becomes more important that the Commissioners have a full appreciation of the activities that are occurring at the site.
then please contact either myself or Mr. Don Hickethier, Executive Vice President of South Coast at 757-2010 so that we can arrange for a convenient time. Additionally, if there are any specific questions or things that any of the Commissioners would like to see, ?lease feel free to note them when you call.
Thus, as activity occurrs adjacent
If such a tour is of interest to any of the Commissioners
Very truly yours,
Stephen M. L'H reux pd S>fL/ch cc: South Coast Asphalt
