For your information and records we wish to advise you of our planned hours of
operation for the month of MARCH ,19 80 , of the various portions
of our Company as set forth below:
Asphalt Plants 6: 30 a.m. to 4:OO p.m. Monday through Friday as
customer orders require.
Quarry (City of Oceanside) 7:OO a.m. to 5:OO p.m. Monday through Friday.
Rock Plant (Crushing and Screening) 6: 00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday. 6: 00 a.m. to 6:OO p.m. Saturdays.
Repair and Maintenance operations may be conducted until 12:OO a.m. Monday through
Fridays and during the day on Saturdays, however, these operations do not require
the operation of heavy equipment.
This is our best estimate of the hours of operation during this month and we would
expect not to deviate from these times without first notifying the City in writing.
South Coast Asphalt Products Co. reserves the right to change these times of operation
based on necessity occasioned by adverse weather, Labor disputes, unusually large
orders, or unforeseen circumstances; however, we will notify the City in writing
36 hours in advance should circumstances force us to operate for times longer than
those above stated.

I hope that you will convey to the residents of Costa Serena that our long
hours of operations were caused by conditions of extreme emergency, and in
response to requests from public officials to try to minimize damage to
public and private property.
