which is equal to the landscape cost estimate. This deposit is being submitted to the City of Carlsbad
in order to obtain issuance of the building permit for this project.

Dear Arnie:
Thank you for your submittal of plans reflecting the changes you have proposed to the site
plan approved by the Planning Commission on November 17, 1993.
The proposal to eliminate 9 parking spaces located along the northern property lease line
is pennitted due to the. elimination of the second story offices above the car wash. The
elimination of the second story offices has not resulted in a change to the architecture since
plans indicate that the first floor ceiling will be raised to preclude the construction of a
second story. Plans must indicate that the structure is one story only with a mock second
story.
Prior to approval of building plancheck, 24" X 36" mylars of the revised site plan, floor plan
eliminating the second floor and stairways, elevations and the cross section of the car wash
structure dated February 25, 1994 including a note that the structure is one story only with
a mock second story shall be submitted to the Planning Director for his approval. These
exhibits shall be labeled "Substantial Conformance Exhibit" and shall replace approved
Exhibits "A", "D", and "E".
