RE: State Highway--78 Widening Project . . . .~ . . . .. . - - -- -- .- .. -.. . . . - . . . ..
Dear Mike:
The Contractor, DALE CORP., has been informed by Cal Trans that, when
doing the last stage of paving between El Camino Real and College Blvd., all
paving operations must be completed by 3:OO P.M. each day to alleviate traf-
fic congestion, and for safety, on this heavily traveled roadway.
CORP. in turn has requested that in order to achieve a reasonable daily pro-
duction of paving, SCAPCO st& an asphalt plant and begin loading trucks at
5:30 A.M. each day. We do not anticipate that the operation of a plant or
trucking will create any problems, but in keeping with our voluntary noti-
fication program, felt you should be advised.
DALEY
Presently, the tentative schedule is for this operation to begin Thu+
day June 30th and Friday July lst, resume on Tuesday July 5th and complete
by Tuesday July 12th, a total of eight (8) working days.
If you have any questions, please call me,
Sincerely,,
SOUTH COAST ASPHALT PRODUCTS CO.
