SUBJECT LOT #264 - PA 13 KAFFKA RESIDENCE
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Kaftka:
On October 14, 1994, the Planning Director sent a letter to you denying your proposed
development of a single family home on Lot #264 of Aviara Point. In the letter, he
explained that if you choose to appeal his decision, then an appeal would be processed upon
your written request accompanied with a processing fee and as soon as you provided us with
certain plans and information. We have received your written request and fee to appeal,
but we have not received the plans and information we requested. Therefore, processing
of your appeal has not commenced.
In case you have not retained a copy of the list of information we need to process your
appeal, I have enclosed a copy of this list. As we had discussed before, staff estimates that
processing will take approximately 2 months from the day we receive this information, at
which time this item will be heard before the Planning Commission.

LIST OF INFORMATION NEEDED TO PROCESS APPEAL
1. 10 copies of a 24' X 36' site plan folded. to 8 l/2' X 1 1 '. The site plan must
include the following information:
building location and setbacks, J'
north MOW and scale, J
location of all easements, including the open space easement at the rear
portion of the property, /
lot dimensions, J
size of open rear yard; J
. location and height of all walls and fences, 1'
driveways and adiacent streets, J
a summary table which includes the following information:
i. kt area, 1
ii. pad area, J
iii. total lot co ge, as well as separate totals for slope and pad
iv. total building area in square feet. J coverage, 7
2. 10 copies of building elevations and fkmr plans prepared on 24' X W sheets ./
folded to 8 1/2' X 1 1' sue. Also illustrate a minimum of 3 cross sections at various
areas along the length of the property and reference the location of these sections
on the site plan.
