Subject: Green Valiey Master Plan/Carisbad Parlners/Hunt Properties
Dear Mr. Westman:
The Final Environmental Impact Report for the Green Valley Master Plan and Master Tentative
Map which was furnished to the District has been reviewed by staff. It was noted that Resolution
No. 3603, Item No. 6, stipulated that the project was in the Olivenhain Municipal Water District
and that the applicant is required to secure agreements with the District for the provision of
r water.
It has already been pointed out to consultants dealing with this subject matter that no request
for hydraulic analysis has been submitted to the District to be performed on this project by the
District's consulting engineer. Therefore, whatever water usage is projected is done on the basis
of estimates not reviewed as of yet with OMWD. The change contemplated in the recent LCPA
93-06 may have an effect on the District's ability to provide water service, but is undefinable at
this time in view of the lack of precise information and the lack of a detailed hydraulic analysis.
It is requested that these matters be addressed in the pertinent documentation by the City and
taken into account by the project applicants and the City at the appropriate points in the
processing of the project.
