We did contact P & D Technologies and they stated that mapping of sensitive plants/species would not be done for the master plan since no development would occur on the bluff area. Since we did not have this information at the time we responded to the Notice of Preparation, we would like to add another issue to our letter dated April 8, 1993 in response to the NOP as follows: 6. A detailed survey and mapping of all sensitive plants and species should be completed so that the EIR can adequately discuss any potential impacts that could occur to the bluff area and its contiguous relationship to the bluffs in the city of Encinitas south of the Green Valley Master Plan. This is an important habitat corridor. It is important to map the sensitive plants and species in order to fully understand its value and to properly evaluate potential impact from adjacent uses. Enclosed you will find a copy of our letter April 8, 1993 for your reference. If you have any questions, please contact me at 633-2698. Sincerely, Alcina A.
