Dear Mr. Wayne:
I have proceeded to purchase the required mitigation for the above noted lot split project.
I was required to mitigate for .39 acres and I purchased .40 acres from the Manchester
Avenue Conservation Bank.
Enclosed you will find the original ReceiptlAcknowlednement that covers this purchase.
I would appreciate an acknowledgement from the City of Carlsbad confirming receipt of
this Acknowledgement and that I have met the mitigation requirements for the above
noted subdivision.
I am working hard to get this subdivision completely approved through all departments
with the City of Carlsbad. My understanding is that we will soon have all approvals with
the Engineering Department. I would appreciate anything you can do to help complete
all work required by the Planning Department.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF SALE OF CONSERVATION CREDITS
The undersigned Seller hereby acknowledges that it has sold and conveyed to Steven Cade
(“Purchaser”) zero point four (0.4) Conservation Credits from the Manchester Avenue
Conservation Bank for the biological mitigation of multiswies impacts in connection with the
project known as the Parcel Number 206-200-08. All terms of this conveyance shall be governed
by the provision of the Conservation Credit Purchase Agreement and Acknowledgment between
Purchaser and the undersigned dated December 1 , 1998.
