Dear Dee; Per our discussion at the meeting of December 11, 1996, were our submitting the following information: Per the new site plan submitted dated 12/19/96, we have reallocated the mitigated area along Fermi Court to the Southwest end of the driving range and per the new landscape plan submitted, we have continued the parkway planting as you requested. Enclosed you will find the biologist map which you can insert into the biologist report to delineate the areas discussed in the report. Enclosed you will find a colored site plan clearly delineating the "Area to be Mitigated" and the "Mitigated Area". On our new site plan the black chain link fence is shown and noted. The fence has been relocated at the north end of the range to the south side of the sidewalk to the range building to protect pedestrians walking to the test facility. The new landscape plan indicates the proposed planting to help conceal the fence. Per your request, the note to remove the trees along College Boulevard adjacent to Lot 78, has been removed. The trees will remain. Per the biologist report, the Tamarisk in the mitigation canyon area will be eradicated and new fill soil will be brought in to cover the area and a native seed planted in the mitigation area. Attached you will find a letter from Taylor Made regarding the use of the range and future screening requirements. Additionally, you will find a site plan locating the golf ball landing sites and their proximity to both College Boulevard and Salk Avenue. 5355 Mira Sorrento Place Suite 750 San Diego, California 92121 (619) 452-3188 Fax (619) 452-3907 8. Per our discussion at the December 11, meeting, approval of the landscape plans will not be a condition of the grading permit, but will a condition of the building permit(s).
