PROJECT: Taylor Made Golf - New Facility
SUBJECT: Summary of conversation of December 9, 1996 with Dee Landers, City of Carlsbad
Planning Department.
Dee Landers has reviewed the Hillside Application and associated environmental documentation
and has requested the following;
~ 1) At Fermi Court (Taylor Court) on the east side of the street, there must be continuity of the /
parkway trees and lawn as per the master landscape plan for Union Pacific Research Center.
Therefore, mitigated area located in the parkway must be relocated.
6 2) Provide an exhibit for the biologist report defining the areas described in the report. This is
necessary to cross check with the areas shown on the site plan submitted for review.
6 3) Provide a colored site plan exhibit clearly defining the area to mitigated and the mitigation tG
areas.
d 4) Clearly define the fencing location along College Boulevard, the height and the proposed
screening of the fence.
5) There is a note to remove trees along College Boulevard adjacent to Lot 78. What is going to
replace them? If no replacement is proposed, then they must remain.
..
6) The Biologist Report states that the Tamarisk should be removed, since it is not a native
species. Where is it located, how is it proposed to be removed 1
6 7) In the report from Taylor Made Golf regarding the distance and location of the golf balls hit from
the new driving range, show the location of Salk Avenue so a clear understanding of the street to
driving range relationship can be established.
