Re: Taylor Made Golf Test Facility
Dear Gary,
December 4, 1996
In response to your request for verification of the use and safety of
the test range, I offer the following.
There is very little probability that any golf balls will escape the test
range and enter either College Boulevard or Salk Avenue. We can
state this with some assurance based on the test data we have
accumulated over time and the field testing done at the site itself.
Please refer to Mr. Todd Borjesson's memo (attached) of September
9,1996. This memo describes the conditions that helped us design the
site and the conditions in which we intend to operate the test facility.
This facility will not be used for recreational purposes, it is a test
facility to be used for research purposes by qualified test personnel.
Taylor Made Golf will accept all liability for personal injury and
property damage resulting from the use of the facility. We are
adequately insured for such events and would provide a certificate
of insurance to the City Of Carlsbad should they require one for the
files.
