SUBJECT: SEASIDE BISTRO - ZC 99-08
Dear Ms. Robinson:
Your letter to the City Manager regarding placing the rezoning of the Seaside Bistro on the City
Council agenda has been referred to me for a response. City staff has scheduled the rezoning
for public hearing before the Planning Commission at its’ meeting of January 3, 2001. The
rezoning will then be subsequently scheduled for a public hearing and consideration at a City
Council meeting. The City Council hearing is normally scheduled 6-8 weeks after it is
considered by the Planning Commission.
Staff believes that the appropriate time for you to request that the city reconsider its direction to
rezone the property to residential zoning consistent with the General Plan and Local Coastal
Plan is when this matter is considered by the Planning Commission and City Council at a public
hearing. At that time, you can present your clients position and enter into the record all the
changed circumstances identified in your letter to the City Manager.
Sincerely,
n
