RE: LCPA 00-13 REDEEMER BY THE SEA
Dear Keri:
Enclosed are exhibits for the Redeemer by the Sea Local Coastal Program Amendment.
The exhibits were created through our Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
department. Although a lot of information can be provided by the database, you can see
that sometimes the output has to be adjusted by hand to make the exhibit correct.
The aerial photo exhibit is the most correct because there are visual cues that can be
used to adjust the GIS lines. The green line represents an HMP Core area as mapped
by Dudek in 1990. The photo shows that the limits of the vegetation are a bit off from
what exists.
A break in development is shown at the approximate location of the blue dotted line.
The break creates a separate conservation lot for this Open Space.
The second exhibit includes slope data as well as vegetation data. An approximate line
of development has also been shown on that exhibit. The exhibits show that the
subdivision acknowledged and preserves the existing sensitive vegetation and slopes.
Other than those of staff and the applicant, there were neither speakers on the project
nor any comment letters.
