All local approvals for the preceding actions have been completed. The proposed LCPAs are
necessary to maintain consistency between the Carlsbad General Plan, the Zoning Ordinance
and the Local Coastal Program. No impacts to coastal resources or policies will occur as a
result of this amendment.
Please consider this application as the second LCP Amendment for the City of Carlsbad for the
year 2001. Three sets of each LCPA item are enclosed. If you have any questions, or desire
