The project is a policy and regulatory action affecting various properties in the Coastal Zone of Carlsbad.
Project Description:
The City of Carlsbad is proposing an amendment to its certified Local Coastal Program (LCP) to incorporate the
Habitat Management Plan (HMP) and to make other revisions to the LCP necessary for consistency with the
conservation provisions of the updated Habitat Management. The file number is LCPA 02-10. In order to ensure
consistency between the HMP and the LCP, the HMP is also being amended. The HMP revisions are titIed
“Second Addendum to the Carlsbad Habitat Management Plan Based on Comments from the California Coastal
Commission and Including Miscellaneous Revisions” dated December 16,2002.
NOTE: Clearinghouse will assign identification numbers for all new projects. If a SCH number already exists for a project (i.e., from a Notice of Preparation or previous draft document) please fill it in. Revised October 1989
