This is to advise that the City of Carlsbad on September 12, 1989, approved the following
project:

Project Description: An Amendment to the General Plan, Local Coastal Plan and Zoning Code
to prohibit on-shore oil and gas support facilities except upon the City
Council making certain findings.
This is to advise that the City of Carlsbad has approved the above described project and has
made the following determinations regarding the above described project:
1. The project will not have a significant effect on the environment.
2. An Negative Declaration was prepared for this project pursuant to the provisions of
CEQA.
The Negative Declaration and record of project approval may be examined at: CITY OF
CARLSBAD
3. Mitigation measures were made a condition of the approval of this project.
4. A statement of Overriding Considerations was not adopted for this project.
