OFF-SHORE OIL REGULATIONS
The City Council at their meeting of March 21, 1989 adopted
Resolution No. 89-91 expressing its intention to amend the general plan, local coastal plan and zoning code to regulate on-shore oil and gas facilities. A copy is attached. Also attached is our draft of the resolution amending the general plan and the zone code. I understand that Gary Wayne is preparing the text of the LCP amendnent but was unable to have it done in time for the Council meeting. As soon as he is finished with the LCP amendment you
should set the matter to hearing before the Planning Commission.
