Dear Mr, Delaplaine:
The City of Carlsbad respectfully requests a continuance of its Local Coastal Program
Amendment 1-89 in order to allow its staff time to study the impacts of the suggested
modifications. Carlsbad further requests that the item be continued to the San Diego area in
order to afford the greatest possibility for public input by locally affected interested parties.
