Dear Don :
At your request, this letter constitutes a formal request for withdrawal of the above application. I understand the withdrawal and resubmittal of the application is necessary to avoid provisions of the Government Code which establish strict time limits on the City's authority to act on a project. I further understand that if the application is not withdrawn, the City would have no choice but to recommend denial of the applicant's request. This position
leaves me with no alternative but to withdraw the application.
Although I am withdrawing the Promenade applications at this time, it is my understanding that with resubmittal of the application, no processing time will be lost.
